2023 Duotone Click Bar Quad Control

The flagship control system from Duotone gives you the ultimate way to trim your kite without moving your hand from the bar itself. Years ago, it revolutionised the kite industry, and now, it?s upgraded again to make it even better with the new Iron Heart VI Click-In Safety System and FLITE99 lines. Available as in medium with a 49cm bar and 22m lines with 2m extensions or in small with a 42cm wide bar with 20m lines and 2m extensions.

The Click Bar with its Backline Trim Unit was a game-changer when it hit the market; the design has been refined over the years, and it?s become the benchmark in kite control systems. For 2023, there is a new Iron Heart VI which features a Click-In Safety System. This allows you to simply push the chicken loop into the Iron Heart VI for easy connection every time. Perfect for riders using a rope slider bar and a real help when you pop your chicken loop and need to reconnect, especially in the water. The floater is also removable so that you can inspect the leader lines of the bar easily , the progressive pigtails have a reduced sleeving, only where it is needed; this reduces the weight and the drag through the air at a critical connection point to the kite. • Automatic untwisting safety system - Lines are automatically untwisted during rotations. Even the guided safety line is untwisted, offering optimum safety and comfort.
• Iron heart IV - The click bar is equipped with the iron heart iv, ensuring a quick and reliable safety release. All lines, including the guided safety line, are automatically untwisted during rotations.
• Four or Five-line setup - You can choose the best setup, depending on your personal preference and riding style. The 5th line makes relaunch easier, especially for big kites and in low winds.
• The winder - Twisting the winder of the trim unit clockwise, shortens the back lines, visible at the neon orange mark in the power display of the bar and the neon orange mark on the floater. The kite has more power. The power steps are divided in eight steps, half a rotation on the winder is one power step.
• Duotone flite99 by Robline - Kite lines connect and communicate the power in your kite, into your hands. Putting our lives in our lines, they are crucial for safe, long lasting and enjoyable sessions. Flite99 is offering the highest dyneema quality, sk 99. Backlines are turquoise / frontlines are grey, to always know which is which. They come with 12% higher breaking load and 15% less elongation than in previous years. The flite99 lines have a 6.5 % less wind exposed area, due to a decreased diameter, are faster! Additionally flite99 comes with a new, even more durable coating. Last, but not least, flite99 uses monofil, a unique material that prevents bending, kinking of the line, prevents the line from wearing out and worst case ripping apart!

With 88m of flying lines in the air, you can really feel the difference thinner line creates. Our latest technology high-load LIROS DC-401 Pro flying lines have extreme stretch resistance and minimal diameter (1.6mm).

Adjustable bar length options with NEW smaller bar size

• Fine tune the turning speed of your kite. The Navigator is available in three sizes 50-55cm (L), 45-50cm (M) and NEW bar size 38-43cm (S) - suited particularly to small freeride kites and freestylers. The small bar reduces kite sensitivity during handlepasses. To extend/retract bar length simply pull out cassettes on the bar-ends, rotate 180 degrees and snap back into place.

NEW grip with offset finger bar and colour-coded components

The Navigator is designed with a comfortable ergonomic grip for a natural grasp and the tactile offset finger bar is slightly oval, so you can feel when the control bar is orientated correctly. • Fast, safe releases in a wide range of conditions. Our patented Connect Quick Release (QR) raises the bar in kite control system safety. The red QR handle has been ergonomically designed to fit in your hand comfortably for an industry-standard push away release. All loaded or running surfaces feature highly polished 316 stainless steel and low-friction components. The stretchy, larger diameter bungee inside the QR helps reduce accidental release.

Loops are made from optimised TPU material for flex and durability, with a more rigid freeride security finger to prevent unexpected unhooking. Flexible LockGuard safety ring prevents accidental release of your interloop.

NEW larger spinning leash attachment ring

• Our NEW oval-shaped leash pin ring has been elongated for easier fastening of the leash carabiner, and spins to help prevent your landing line from twisting.

Soft EVA bar ends with retractable line winders

• The positive buoyancy bar ends with integrated line winder bungees are injection moulded in one piece with no seams for long-lasting quality. The bar ends ensure nothing hard comes in touch with you or your board, float the entire bar, and also contain the concealed rear line adjustment. Even the best quality lines shrink over time, so after a month, we recommend you check your lines are all even and drop them to the bottom knot. It?s easy and takes only a minute to make the change.

Protective PU covered leader lines

• To help prevent line abrasion from uncovered lines against your skin, we've used colour-coded PU tubing covers. The covers also help them remain rigid and out of the way when the flying lines aren't under tension.

Adjustable cleated trim system

• Provides industry-proven line-adjustment when needed. The cleat base has been designed with NEW circular geometry for consistent bar spin, in other words, no jamming when you?re doing a barspin megaloop. In overpowered conditions the cleat allows you to shorten your front lines and adjust your body position.

Adjustable length flying lines 22m (12m + 10m)

• 22m lines have a split at 12m, which is far enough for the bar to travel to completely depower our largest kite when you flag out. Remove the standard 10m top section of flying line and 12m lines are ideal for schools to teach with and for foil racing. 8m and NEW 6m line extensions are available as an accessory for wave riding or tighter kiteloops.

Kook-proof flying line connectors

• Ensure you always set up your flying lines correctly. Designed to be exactly the same length so you can easily change the front (knotted end) and rear (lark's head loop) connectors to match most other manufacturers' kite configurations. 2021/22 Duotone Click Bar Quad Control

The Duotone Click Bar revolutionised how we control our kites, taking things to a completely new level! The next step in this evolution is the introduction of FLITE99 lines by Robline! The Click Bar is available in a narrow version, just 42cm wide with a line length of 20m plus 2m extensions, or there is the Click Bar M, offering 22m line length plus 2 m extensions (width 49cm)! Four different chicken loop options are also available to ensure maximum performance and customization.

The game-changing Click Bar is now even better in combination with the new FLITE99 lines by Robline. The Click Bar's unique Trim Unit enables you to power and depower in precise steps at the flick of a switch. To power your kite, turn the winder clockwise, this shortens the length of your backlines with every half turn. To depower, simply push the button in the middle of the winder and your backlines will lengthen again with every click. The power / depower level is always visible on the bar's power display and on a neon orange mark above the right floater. The Click Bar is equipped with the Iron Heart V, ensuring a quick and reliable safety release. All lines, including the guided safety line, are automatically untwisted during rotations. Supplied with a 4-line setup and adjustable to either 20m and 22m or to 22 m and 24 m line length.

• Automatic untwisting safety system - Lines are automatically untwisted during rotations. Even the guided safety line is untwisted, offering optimum safety and comfort.
• Iron heart IV - The click bar is equipped with the iron heart iv, ensuring a quick and reliable safety release. All lines, including the guided safety line, are automatically untwisted during rotations.
• 4 or 5-line setup - You can choose the best setup, depending on your personal preference and riding style. The 5th line makes relaunch easier, especially for big kites and in low winds.
• The winder - Twisting the winder of the trim unit clockwise, shortens the back lines, visible at the neon orange mark in the power display of the bar and the neon orange mark on the floater. The kite has more power. The power steps are divided in eight steps, half a rotation on the winder is one power step.
• Duotone flite99 by Robline - Kite lines connect and communicate the power in your kite, into your hands. Putting our lives in our lines, they are crucial for safe, long lasting and enjoyable sessions. Flite99 is offering the highest dyneema quality, sk 99. Backlines are turquoise / frontlines are grey, to always know which is which. They come with 12% higher breaking load and 15% less elongation than in previous years. The flite99 lines have a 6.5 % less wind exposed area, due to a decreased diameter, are faster! Additionally flite99 comes with a new, even more durable coating. Last, but not least, flite99 uses monofil, a unique material that prevents bending, kinking of the line, prevents the line from wearing out and worst case ripping apart!

Click Bar vs Trust Bar:

Iron Heart

• The Duotone Click Bar is equipped with the Iron Heart 5, which automatically ?swivels? the kite?s power lines. This is particularly beneficial after jumps with rotations. With the Duotone Trust Bar these lines have to be adjusted by hand while riding.

line lengths

• The Duotone Click Bar is available with a line length of 20/22 metres and 22/24 metres. This lets you adjust the length of the line as desired. The V-position can also be altered to adapt the bar perfectly for your kite. The Duotone Trust Bar is available with line lengths of 19m, 22m, 24m and 27m.

Depowering

• Thanks to the unique depower system on the Duotone Click Bar, you no longer need to adjust your body position when you want to power or depower your kite. This is particularly beneficial for smaller riders with shorter arms. It also removes the need for all the annoying lines required for traditional depower systems.

Bar widths

• The Duotone Click Bar is available in two sizes, with a bar width of 42cm or 49cm. The Duotone Trust Bar is also available in two widths, but has a flip-flop function on the floaters for adjusting the bar width. This permits possible bar widths of 42cm/49cm and 46cm/53cm.

Stopper

• The Duotone Click Bar is equipped with a sliding stopper. Above a certain pressure, it slides upwards thus providing the very highest level of safety. The Click Bar?s stopper can also be fixed using a grub screw so that it no longer slides (not recommended). The stopper on the Duotone Trust Bar can be used as a fixed stopper, which opens up new possibilities for board-off tricks.

5th Line

• Both the Duotone Click Bar and the Duotone Trust Bar come by default as a 4 line bar and can be extended with a 5th line. The Click Bar S can also be upgraded with the Hadlow line setup.

2021 Duotone Chicken Loop and Leash Kit

The Freeride Kit comprises of the smallest chicken loop combined with a short leash.  This kit is the first choice for freeriders who are not unhooking. The short chicken loop maximizes the depower range while the shorter saftey leash is tangle-free. Easily installed with one pin.

Freestyle Kit: The Freestyle Kit comes with a large chicken loop and a long leash. This setup is ideal for unhooked freestyle and wakestyle riding. Easy to hook back in following unhooked tricks, the long neoprene covered leash gives maximum freedom to move, comfort and prevents injuries. Easily installed with one pin.

Rope Harness Kit:  The Rope Harness Kit presents a small chicken loop with a metal plate and a short leash, which can ONLY be used with a rope harness. You must not use this loop on a standard harness hook. The short chicken loop ensures maximum range of depower and it's non-abrasive quality, means a longer lasting harness rope and loop. A short tangle-fee safety leash provides confidence and comfort. It's designed without any disturbing chicken dig. Easily installed with one pin.

Wakestyle Kit: The Wakestyle Kit comes with a huge chicken loop and a long leash. This setup is ideal for unhooked freestyle and wakestyle riding. Easy to hook back in following unhooked tricks, the long neoprene covered leash gives maximum freedom to move, comfort and prevents injuries.
