2023 Duotone Click Bar Quad Control

The flagship control system from Duotone gives you the ultimate way to trim your kite without moving your hand from the bar itself. Years ago, it revolutionised the kite industry, and now, it?s upgraded again to make it even better with the new Iron Heart VI Click-In Safety System and FLITE99 lines. Available as in medium with a 49cm bar and 22m lines with 2m extensions or in small with a 42cm wide bar with 20m lines and 2m extensions.

Iron Heart VI Click-In Safety System - The new Iron Heart VI features a simple Click-In Safety System including an optical control function that allows you to reconnect the chicken loop as easily as you clip in your seat belt plus being able to check the green marking, to ensure the system is closed properly.
Precise Back Line Trim - The Click Bar has been designed to give you total control over the trim of the kite - no more pulling and hoping; trim it in precise increments!
FLITE99 Lines - The new FLITE99 lines from Robline reduce the drag through the air and offer a more direct steering response.
Minimalistic Pigtails - The new pigtails have reduced sleeving to only where it is needed. This reduces the weight and the drag through the air at a critical connection point to the kite.
V Distributor III - The new V Distributor III can be adjusted easily, allowing you to set the front line to split quickly. It can also be removed entirely, very easily, so you can have a very low V; this makes the Click Bar compatible with most kites on the market.
4 or 5 Lines - If you have a 5th line kite or want to ride your Duotone kites that are compatible with 5th lines, then there is an upgrade kite allowing you to ride with a 5th line.

The Click Bar with its Backline Trim Unit was a game-changer when it hit the market; the design has been refined over the years, and it?s become the benchmark in kite control systems. For 2023, there is a new Iron Heart VI which features a Click-In Safety System. This allows you to simply push the chicken loop into the Iron Heart VI for easy connection every time. Perfect for riders using a rope slider bar and a real help when you pop your chicken loop and need to reconnect, especially in the water. The floater is also removable so that you can inspect the leader lines of the bar easily , the progressive pigtails have a reduced sleeving, only where it is needed; this reduces the weight and the drag through the air at a critical connection point to the kite. The new FLITE99 lines from Robline reduce the drag through the air and offer a more direct steering response. The new V Distributor III can be adjusted easily, allowing you to quickly set the front line to split quickly. It can also be removed entirely, very easily, so you can have a very low V; this makes the Click Bar compatible with most kites on the market. There is a Suicide Ring leash connection system; ride it in full safety mode or easily set up suicide for unhooked riding. There is also a Click Bar in Medium with 12m + 12m extensions; this set-up is perfect for kite schools. If you want the ultimate control system for your kites, the Click Bar is the only choice you need to make; there is nothing better! For 2023, it?s refined, tuned and ready to perform at the highest levels of the sport.

Details:

Automatic untwisting safety system - Lines are automatically untwisted during rotations. Even the guided safety line is untwisted, offering optimum safety and comfort.
Iron heart IV - The click bar is equipped with the iron heart iv, ensuring a quick and reliable safety release. All lines, including the guided safety line, are automatically untwisted during rotations.
Four or Five-line setup - You can choose the best setup, depending on your personal preference and riding style. The 5th line makes relaunch easier, especially for big kites and in low winds.
The winder - Twisting the winder of the trim unit clockwise, shortens the back lines, visible at the neon orange mark in the power display of the bar and the neon orange mark on the floater. The kite has more power. The power steps are divided in eight steps, half a rotation on the winder is one power step.
Duotone flite99 by Robline - Kite lines connect and communicate the power in your kite, into your hands. Putting our lives in our lines, they are crucial for safe, long lasting and enjoyable sessions. Flite99 is offering the highest dyneema quality, sk 99. Backlines are turquoise / frontlines are grey, to always know which is which. They come with 12% higher breaking load and 15% less elongation than in previous years. The flite99 lines have a 6.5 % less wind exposed area, due to a decreased diameter, are faster! Additionally flite99 comes with a new, even more durable coating. Last, but not least, flite99 uses monofil, a unique material that prevents bending, kinking of the line, prevents the line from wearing out and worst case ripping apart!

You click in your seatbelt, hearing that 'click' sound makes you feel secure that you are safely buckled up, and you know instinctively how to release it. The design of our new release system, the Click-In Loop, is inspired by the same principle. In the same way fastening your seatbelt has become a natural action when getting into a car, riders should activate and reload their release systems before and after every use. Although this important safety check is often overlooked, checking your release before each session will ensure it is functioning properly. We developed the Click-In function to be simple and intuitive, so activating and reloading will become second nature.

The Contact Water Control System V4 comes in 38cm, 45cm, 50cm, and 55cm bar lengths and ships standard with a medium size loop.

- Expert mode offers 100% flag out only when the Click-In Loop is released whilst hooked in, allowing riders practicing handle passes to miss the bar without releasing the kite to flag out (not recommended).
Three Loop Size Options - Small, Medium and Large size harness loops are available for the Click-In Loop. Choose the Small if you ride hooked in only, have a shorter arm reach or prefer the bar closer to your body. The Medium size is perfect for most riders. The Large size is designed for unhooking or riders with a longer arm reach.
Spinning Head with Anti-twist Flag Out Line - Our custom Stainless Steel Swivel Ring locates into the Click-In Loops rotating internal core. When manually turning the Spinning Head to un-twist front lines, the Flag Out Line rotates in unison with the core keeping all lines twist free.
Soft Bar Ends with Leader Line Adjustment - Soft bar ends for comfort and are less likely to damage lightly constructed boards. The leader lines are adjustable via knots inside the float, simply pull out from the opening to access and adjust to your preference.
Stainless Steel Leader Line Pin - Superior strength is achieved with a Stainless pin running through the bar. This creates an ultra strong and direct connection between the control bar to flying lines.
Light Weight Aluminum Center Piece - CNC cut Aluminum center piece reduces weight. The low friction design reduces wear.
Ergonomic EVA Grip - 3D pressed EVA grip with ergonomic shaping provides the ultimate bar grip.
