How to install a fixmykite.com self stick valve?

1. Valve Removal: If replacing valve, carefully peel off old valve. If old valve does peel off, cut around circumference of valve to remove
2. Cleaning: Wipe area where valve will be placed with provided alcohol swab. DRY COMPLETELY WITH A CLEAN PAPER TOWEL.
3. Peel and Stick: Lay bladder out flat. If possible, have a friend lightly hold bladder on table or other smooth even surface. Peel off paper backing, center valve over hole, and place valve on bladder.
4. Press: Press valve from center outward to remove air bubbles and ensure proper adhesion and creases.

*Pro Tip- Use a hair dryer to heat the valve. This makes it easier to remove the valve. After placement of the Fixmykite self stick valve use the hair dryer again to warm the adhesive. Press the valve from the center out massaging and stretching creating positive adhesion. Be careful not to overheat the bladder or new valve.

Add Velcro Option
The "Add Velcro" option provides you with attached Velcro at the base of the valve just as you would see with the original factory bladder.  This part of the valve goes on the inside of the kite casing; the Velcro prevents the bladder from twisting when tightening the screw-cap. 

MEGA Option: The MEGA valve option refers to the size of the TEAR-AID PATCH ONLY.  MEGA patches are 4 inches in diameter as opposed to the standard valve patch which has a 3” diameter. This extra inch means 77% more adhesive base and surface area compared to the standard valve patch size. The MEGA-valve patch is necessary when the old valve is cut from the bladder or leaves a tear during removal. The additional surface area provided by the Mega valve Tear-Aid patch allows quick and easy bladder repair eliminating the need for an additional bladder patch. The Mega Valve Patch can also be used if the valve area of the bladder is warped.

If your old valve(s) cleanly peel(s) off, a larger Mega patch in most cases isn’t necessary.

Add Bladder Patch Install Kit Option
The Bladder Patch Install Kit is for use when your old valve has to be cut out of the bladder leaving a hole larger than the valve. If your old valve peels off of your bladder easily, you do NOT need the bladder patch kit. The Bladder Patch Install Kit includes a baggie of talcum powder and a 6x6-Inch (15.24 x 15.24cm) adhesive patch.

The FixMyKite.com North Lazy Pump Gen. 1 Valve is the OEM valve North kites used for all one-pump connections from 2011-2012 (Generation 1). These also will work on the Best Kites' one-pump systems from 2013 and newer. Made with TearAid to work with any bladder.

OEM Replacement North Line Connector / pigtail Set. These pigtails connect to the bridle lines coming off the kite and allow you to hook up your flying lines. Always check kite pigtails for wear and tear.

Adjustable bar length options with NEW smaller bar size

• Fine tune the turning speed of your kite. The Navigator is available in three sizes 50-55cm (L), 45-50cm (M) and NEW bar size 38-43cm (S) - suited particularly to small freeride kites and freestylers. The small bar reduces kite sensitivity during handlepasses. To extend/retract bar length simply pull out cassettes on the bar-ends, rotate 180 degrees and snap back into place.

NEW grip with offset finger bar and colour-coded components

• Feel more connected. The Navigator is designed with a comfortable ergonomic grip for a natural grasp and the tactile offset finger bar is slightly oval, so you can feel when the control bar is orientated correctly. Connect Quick-Release with intuitive single-action reload

• Fast, safe releases in a wide range of conditions. Our patented Connect Quick Release (QR) raises the bar in kite control system safety. Soft EVA bar ends with retractable line winders

• The positive buoyancy bar ends with integrated line winder bungees are injection moulded in one piece with no seams for long-lasting quality. The bar ends ensure nothing hard comes in touch with you or your board, float the entire bar, and also contain the concealed rear line adjustment. Even the best quality lines shrink over time, so after a month, we recommend you check your lines are all even and drop them to the bottom knot. It?s easy and takes only a minute to make the change.

Protective PU covered leader lines

The FixMyKite.com North Hyperflow CAP ONLY  is the top screw portion with Cap for the new inflate/deflate screw valve that North now uses on their kites (2020 and Newer). 

This product does NOT include the base or Stick-on patch. This will NOT WORK in the old North Airport Valve base (  It will hook up straight to any standard pump.

This cap will work on Cabrinha Airlock 2, Slingshot Complete Screw, Eleveight Kites.

OEM Silicone One-Pump Hose is a heavy-duty flexible hose with a 1/4" inner diameter, standard factory one-pump hose. This means it will not just be the only replacement hose you will ever want to use, it will last!

Hose is sold by the foot so you can cut it to your specific needs. Our 2013 and newer North Depower Replacement line is almost identical to the line that comes on North kites. The North Depower line has knot on one end with Dacron tape on the other end for easy installation. It's a quick and easy fix to replace your old worn-out line.

North Replacement Standard Spare Line set - 22m Overall Length

12m + 10m Dyneema SK99 line extensions enable you to customise your line length for wave riding or tighter kiteloops. The Navigator Control System is supplied with 22m Lines, with a split at 12m, which is far enough for the bar to travel to completely depower our largest kite when you flag out. Remove the standard 10m top section of line and 12m lines are ideal for schools to teach with and for foil racing. Shorter 8m + 2m line extensions are also available as an accessory for those wanting 18m or 20m lines for wave riding or tighter kiteloops.

The North and Core Pump Adapter/Nozzle is compatible with Core kites and newer North kites (2013 and on), Duotone kites, and Cabrinha Airlock 2 kites.

The North/Duotone Airport  Pump Adapter/Nozzle with silicone sealing ring is compatible with 2013 and newer North kites, and 2014 and newer Cabrinha kites with the Airlock 2 screw valve.

This adapter was built to fit newer model heavy duty pump hoses (2016 and newer.)  The adapter does also fit older model pump hoses (prior to 2016) very tightly but does not lock in like standard OEM adapters.  The adapter can be used as is or may need to be modified by filing down the tiny nub near the ridge of the adapter where it connects to the hose.
